A video project made in collaboration with the local children of Sarecha Village in Jodhpur, India.

Magic Man is a non-narrative animated short created from drawings made by the local children. The music for the animation is built upon the unconventional and off-beat sounds produced and recorded in and around the village.

Whistles, words, goat calls, and kitchen utensils; alongside synthesizers - coagulate to produce a soundscape that marries community, play, and technology.

A love letter to the sand, the unabashed laughter, and the desert sun.
